REVIEWS
What advice would you give to someone considering to take this course?
DolleEicir: Do not be complacent even if you have prior knowledge. Manage your time well for the tests. Start revision early, especially for Test 2 when it happens a few weeks after lectures and tutorials end, so you might have forgotten some stuff. Prepare and organise your cheatsheet well. Can definitely overload, since there are only 10 lecture topics and 4 lab sessions for content
Wan Xin: Do more practices because just looking at the slides/text doesnt give u a good gauge of whether u understand the concept or not. Expect to be doing calculations based on a concept without/with little practice from homework assignments/practice quiz. Its ez to overestimate ur understanding of this course imo

What did you enjoy or find most useful from this course?
DolleEicir: Learning the lab techniques, as well as the statistical testing, which is very practical for research.
Wan Xin: Overall the labs were p cool and the lab instructor was helpful. Lecturer saradha is also v nice

What aspects of the course did you find most challenging, and why?
DolleEicir: It's not too bad, just don't leave your pro-forma and short report till last minute to complete it.
Wan Xin: Lab reports takes a looooong time to do and tho dr chen is helpful but doesnt really have a clear answer to ur questions (he the master yapper)

What resources did you find most helpful in helping you better understand the course material?
DolleEicir: Ms Saradha is the best, as she will patiently explain to you the mistakes you have made, and advise you on how to do better next time.
Wan Xin: Having done the chem industry skills thingy in the summer
What other courses do you think should be taken before or concurrently with this courses?
DolleEicir: A decent combination would be with CM2133, as CM2133 has no lab, and it would aid in understanding the higher-level courses like CM3141 and CM3192.
