REVIEWS
What advice would you give to someone considering taking this course?

Anonymous: You can overload with this course, because the content taught and tested is actually not alot compared to other chemistry core courses.

What did you enjoy or find most useful from this course?

Anonymous: The content taught is useful for chemical QC roles and for analytical research.

What aspects of the course did you find most challenging, and why?

Anonymous: The CA1 and CA2 exams were difficult. CA1 was difficult because it tested maths calculation in an analytical chemistry context, and the questions were long-winded, challenging and time-limited, while CA2 was particularly difficult as it is mostly testing memorizing and the questions phrased were extremely challenging, but Dr Xu has marked leniently. The other assessments which are the group project and the final assignment were okay.

What resources did you find most helpful in helping you better understand the course material?

Anonymous: The lecture materials provided were sufficient. But more information on chem libretexts are useful.

What other courses do you think should be taken before or concurrently with this module?

Anonymous: CM3192, whereby the XRD experiment is related to this course.
