REVIEW
What advice would you give to someone considering to take this course?
Anonymous: It is quite an interesting chem elective, doable even if you are not super well-versed in physical chemistry or organic chemistry because both professors teach from the ground-up. Basics are not neglected so you won't be super lost.
What did you enjoy or find most useful from this course?
Anonymous: The physical chemistry portion is pretty challenging, but Prof Tan provides a very comprehensive crash course on foundational concepts in physical chemistry to build you up to the actual content. If you go for lectures, the phyiscal chemistry part is actually quite insightful and very doable.
What aspects of the course did you find most challenging, and why?
Anonymous: NIL 10/10 fun course.
What resources did you find most helpful in helping you better understand the course material?
Anonymous: There are some suggested readings by Profs but not necessary to read any of them since they are more advanced than what is actually taught in lectures.
What other courses do you think should be taken before or concurrently with this course?
Anonymous: CM2133 before.
