What advice would you give to someone considering taking this course?
Anonymous: One can take it with another 3k elective or 2k core mod, as the content in this course requires a lot of understanding and review. Before Prof LU took charge of this course, it used to be super difficult according to past year reviews. But if you take it under him, the content is relatively easier and more straightforward as compared to other profs'.
What did you enjoy or find most useful from this course?
Anonymous: His lecture slides and tutorial answers are very clear and structured. His exam questions also come from tutorials and homework, which makes it easy to predict and review accordingly. He is a super nice person and always checks with students to see if we can understand what he covered in class.
What aspects of the course did you find most challenging, and why?
Anonymous: Sometimes his explanation of concepts is not very concise and clear, due to his English. But one can always book a consultation or ask him after class to clarify. It really helps a lot.
What resources did you find most helpful in helping you better understand the course material?
Anonymous: His tutorials and homework assignments.
What other courses do you think should be taken before or concurrently with this course?
